Decoded: Money & Healthcare
Welcome to Decoding Money & Healthcare—
Here to help you understand insurance and financial options, since they shouldn't feel like cracking a secret code.
But that's exactly what it feels like, right? You read about 'indexed universal life policies' or 'Medicare Advantage vs. Supplement plans' and your eyes glaze over. You know you SHOULD understand this stuff, but who has time to become a financial expert when you're working full-time, raising kids, and just trying to keep up?
That's where I come in.
I'm Tonia Perry, and I've spent 15+ years as a Certified Pharmacy Technician explaining complex insurance to overwhelmed patients. I've seen every confused face, every frustrated question, and every person who just needed someone to break it down in plain English.
Now I write this blog to:
Decode life insurance options (so you know what you're actually buying)
Simplify Medicare enrollment (because turning 65 is confusing enough)
Teach financial literacy basics (the building blocks no one explains)
Share real strategies for real life (not textbook advice for people with unlimited time and money)
Who This Blog Is For:
Parents trying to protect their families without overpaying
Pre-retirees navigating Medicare for the first time
ADHD entrepreneurs building wealth with brains that work differently
Anyone who's tired of financial advice that assumes you have hours of free time and a finance degree
You don't need to become an expert. You just need someone to decode it for you.
That's what this blog does.
